Background Select :

Junior Church

We aim to provide a happy environment in which children can learn about being a part of God’s family and enjoy a time together with friends of their own age as well as the whole church family.

The children also enjoy social events and activities and have fun. We start off with breakfast and a chat, followed by songs and then we split into groups for age related bible teaching and crafts/activities. We finish by joining the church congregation for the last part of the service and refreshments. We also provide a crèche area for parents to sit with babies and toddlers in church.

Past Events:

During the year we do different activities, we are very much a part of the life of St. Mary’s. Christmas and Easter are great. We take part in special events like the Christingle Service.

At Christmas we took part in a play during the Carol Service.  Christingle is great because the church is really full. At Harvest we bring gifts of food to church which are given to a local charity caring for people in need.  At Christmas we take part in the Operation Christmas child shoe box appeal.

When Do We Meet?

Every month we meet on the 1st Sunday morning in church at 10am, and we join in with the worship services on the other Sundays.
